Due diligence

How a conversation becomes a decision

1. Introduction (1 to 2 weeks)A 45-minute call to confirm fit: ticket size, instrument, timeline and what you need to see. We send the public project summary.
2. Confidentiality and data roomAfter identification and an NDA, access to the information memorandum, financial model, lease, licences, equipment proposals and offtake evidence. Documents are shared through authenticated access, not by public links.
3. Site and supply chain visitNaivasha site, Rift Valley orchards, a partner packhouse and a partner oil plant, with testing on site. Visits are organised with our sister company Volcan Tours and Travel.
4. Terms and confirmatory diligenceTerm sheet, legal and financial diligence by your advisers, agreed conditions precedent and closing.
Material risks we discuss openlyFruit supply and price volatility; project execution and commissioning timing; SEZ licensing and permits; currency and interest rate exposure; counterparty and offtake concentration; logistics from Mombasa; regulatory change in destination markets. The information memorandum sets these out with mitigants.
What we do not doWe do not publish projected returns on the website, we do not accept funds before documentation is complete, and we do not describe target dates as guarantees.

Due diligence visits
