Questions buyers ask

Before you request an offer for Africa

Do you export to South Africa and Egypt?

Yes, mainly oil grade and frozen avocado, avocado oil, purees and macadamia for processors, and fresh produce for retail where phytosanitary permits allow. We confirm requirements per product before quoting.

Can you supply West African supermarkets and hotels by air?

Yes. Avocados, mango, pineapple, passion fruit and fresh herbs fly from Nairobi to Lagos, Accra and Abidjan on daily services, arriving within 24 hours of packing.

Do you use AfCFTA preferences?

Where the importing country has started trading under AfCFTA and the product qualifies, we issue AfCFTA certificates of origin; otherwise COMESA or EAC certificates apply.

Can you source from Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi for African buyers?

Yes. We source from audited partner orchards in all five East African origins to give African buyers continuous supply through the year.

How do we see the quality before the container sails?

Fruit Quality Studio Africa, the Kenyan arm of Quality Studio Europe, inspects every consignment at the packhouse and issues a preloading QC report on dry matter, defects, sizing and pulp temperature, which we share with you before the vessel departs.

Can you start with a trial order?

Yes. Most programmes begin with one container, or a pallet by air for herbs, chillies and samples, before moving to weekly or fortnightly programme volumes.
