Crude avocado oilCold pressed, FFA below 5%, moisture and impurities below 0.5%, peroxide below 10 meq/kg at loading; deep green.

Extra virginFood grade, FFA below 1%, bulk or bottled, private label available.

Avocado oil processing, refining and bottling

The third of East African fruit that misses cosmetic export grade does not go to waste. It is cold pressed into crude avocado oil, refined and bottled as extra virgin and refined avocado oil for food brands, cosmetic ingredient buyers and industrial refiners. Growers are paid in full at the factory gate for every grade, and pressing residues go back to farms as compost.

What is the difference between crude and extra virgin?

Crude oil is unrefined and intended for refining or cosmetic use; extra virgin is food grade, cold pressed and filtered for direct consumption.

Do you offer organic avocado oil?

Organic certified lots are available from selected plants on request.
