Hass and Green skin avocados: what we supply and how

VarietiesHass (export flagship, thick pebbled skin, high oil content); Green skin Fuerte and Pinkerton (smooth skin, larger fruit, early season).

Grades and sizesClass 1. Hass sizes 12 to 32; Green skin sizes 12 to 28. Dry matter 24% minimum, tested in the field before every harvest.

Packing4 kg cartons for sizes 12 to 24 (288 per pallet, 5,760 per 40 ft container); 10 kg cartons for sizes 26 to 32 (120 per pallet, 2,400 per container). Private label available.

AvailabilityAll year. Kenya peaks March to August, Tanzania November to March, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi carry the shoulder months.

Shipping40 ft controlled atmosphere reefers at 5.0 °C with two data loggers; Mombasa to Algeciras 20 to 28 days, Rotterdam 28 to 35 days. Air freight for premium programmes.

Before you request an offer

Do you supply Hass all year?

Yes. Kenyan Hass peaks from March to August, Tanzanian Hass from November to March, and Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi carry the shoulder months.

Which sizes are most available?

Sizes 14 to 22 make up the bulk of Kenyan Hass; sizes 12 and 24 to 32 are available on request and packed in 10 kg cartons above size 24.

Can you pack under our brand?

Yes. Private label cartons and stickers are available for programme volumes.
