Basil, mint, rosemary, thyme, oregano, chives, coriander and tarragon grown in open fields and greenhouses on the Kenyan highlands, fresh bird's eye, habanero and cayenne chillies, and sun dried and dehydrated chillies. Harvested to order, cooled within the hour and air freighted from Nairobi to Europe and the Gulf within 24 to 48 hours, every week of the year.

Fresh herbs, fresh chillies and dried chillies: what we supply and how

HerbsBasil, mint, rosemary, thyme, oregano, chives, coriander, dill and tarragon, cut to length and bunched or loose in 1 kg to 5 kg boxes.
Fresh chilliesBird's eye, habanero, cayenne and jalapeño, hand picked at full colour, graded and packed in 2 kg to 5 kg boxes, air freighted with the herbs.
Dried chilliesSun dried and dehydrated African bird's eye and cayenne, whole with or without stem, moisture below 12 percent, sorted by colour and length; 10 kg and 25 kg cartons or bags, sea freight from Mombasa or air. Crushed and powder on request.
AvailabilityAll year. Fresh herbs and chillies peak from June to February; dried chillies are held in stock for shipment in any month.
ShippingFresh: air freight from Nairobi to Europe and the Gulf within 24 to 48 hours of harvest. Dried: 20 ft and 40 ft containers from Mombasa, or air for samples and urgent orders.

Before you request an offer

What is the minimum order?

From 100 kg per herb line per flight for regular programmes; mixed consignments are possible.

Can you meet UK and EU MRLs?

Yes. Spray programmes are managed to EU and UK MRLs and residue tests are available per lot.

Do you supply dried chillies as well as fresh?

Yes. Sun dried and dehydrated African bird's eye and cayenne chillies, whole, crushed or powdered, are held in stock all year and ship by sea from Mombasa in 10 kg and 25 kg packs, or by air for samples and urgent orders.
