Buyers

What Gulf importers buy from us

Gulf buyers value freshness, ripeness on arrival and consistent weekly availability through Ramadan and the summer. Short transit from Mombasa lets us ship Hass at higher maturity than fruit from Latin America, and daily flights carry mango, passion fruit, herbs and chillies that reach Dubai shelves the day after harvest. Dubai also serves as our re-export hub for the wider Middle East.

Questions buyers ask

Before you request an offer for UAE and the GCC

How long does it take to ship avocados from Kenya to Dubai?

Seven to nine days by sea from Mombasa to Jebel Ali and four to five hours by air from Nairobi to Dubai, so Gulf buyers receive fruit at higher maturity and fresher than from any other major origin.

Can you supply through Ramadan and the summer?

Yes. Kenyan Hass is in season from March to October and Tanzanian fruit covers November to March, with mango, pineapple, passion fruit and herbs available all year.

Do you ship to Saudi Arabia directly?

Yes, by sea to Jeddah and Dammam and by air to Riyadh and Jeddah, with documents prepared for SFDA clearance by your import agent.

Can you supply Dubai wholesale market traders?

Yes. We supply importers at Al Aweer fruit and vegetable market as well as retail chains, food service distributors and re-exporters.

How do we see the quality before the container sails?

Fruit Quality Studio Africa, the Kenyan arm of Quality Studio Europe, inspects every consignment at the packhouse and issues a preloading QC report on dry matter, defects, sizing and pulp temperature, which we share with you before the vessel departs.

Can you start with a trial order?

Yes. Most programmes begin with one container, or a pallet by air for herbs, chillies and samples, before moving to weekly or fortnightly programme volumes.
