Before you request an offer for Far East and South East Asia
Which Asian markets can receive fresh Kenyan avocados today?
Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and several South East Asian markets import fresh Kenyan Hass with a KEPHIS phytosanitary certificate and the importer's permit where required. Japan and South Korea have their own market access processes, so we confirm the current position per product before quoting and supply processed lines there in the meantime.
How long is the voyage from Mombasa to Singapore?
Eighteen to twenty two days port to port, with Hong Kong at twenty two to twenty eight days. We plan harvest maturity to the voyage and use controlled atmosphere containers.
Do you supply Japanese and Korean cosmetic manufacturers with avocado oil?
Yes. Crude and refined grade avocado oil ships in drums and IBCs with certificates of analysis to Japanese and Korean cosmetic and food manufacturers.
Can you consolidate avocado and macadamia in one shipment?
Macadamia ships in dry containers and avocado in reefers, so they move separately by sea, but we coordinate loading and documents so both arrive together for the same importer.
How do we see the quality before the container sails?
Fruit Quality Studio Africa, the Kenyan arm of Quality Studio Europe, inspects every consignment at the packhouse and issues a preloading QC report on dry matter, defects, sizing and pulp temperature, which we share with you before the vessel departs.
Can you start with a trial order?
Yes. Most programmes begin with one container, or a pallet by air for herbs, chillies and samples, before moving to weekly or fortnightly programme volumes.
