Before you request an offer for United States

Can you ship fresh Kenyan avocados to the United States?

Fresh avocado imports into the US need USDA APHIS approval for each origin. Kenyan fresh Hass is subject to that market access process, so for US buyers today we supply avocado oil, frozen avocado, macadamia, dried fruit and purees and keep fresh programmes ready for when access is confirmed.

Are your facilities FDA registered?

Yes. The processing facilities we ship from hold FDA food facility registration, and we file prior notice and support the US importer's FSVP documentation on every shipment.

What avocado oil grades do you supply to the US?

Crude cold pressed oil for refiners in drums, IBCs or flexitanks, and extra virgin oil for food and cosmetic brands, each with a certificate of analysis for free fatty acids, peroxide value and contaminants.

Do you offer organic products for the US market?

Yes, on selected lines. Organic certification for the US market is arranged through accredited certifiers for programme volumes.

How do we see the quality before the container sails?

Fruit Quality Studio Africa, the Kenyan arm of Quality Studio Europe, inspects every consignment at the packhouse and issues a preloading QC report on dry matter, defects, sizing and pulp temperature, which we share with you before the vessel departs.

Can you start with a trial order?

Yes. Most programmes begin with one container, or a pallet by air for herbs, chillies and samples, before moving to weekly or fortnightly programme volumes.
