Kenyan avocado exporter to Poland and Central Europe
Poland is one of the fastest growing avocado markets in Europe, driven by a young urban population, expanding discounters and supermarkets and the Bronisze wholesale market outside Warsaw. We supply Polish importers, ripeners and retail programmes with Class 1 Hass and Green skin avocados by direct reefer into Gdańsk or overland from Rotterdam and Hamburg, plus mango, pineapple, dried fruit, macadamia and avocado oil for Polish food and cosmetic brands, and we serve Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary and the Baltic states from the same programmes.

Buyers
Built for Polish importers, discounters and Central European distributors
Polish buyers want competitive landed prices, fruit that ripens evenly in the growing number of Polish ripening rooms, and the same residue and social compliance that German retailers require, because many Polish retail programmes are run by the same groups. Our own 200 hectare plantation and registered partner orchards give us the volume and the dry matter to hold weekly programmes, independent preloading inspection on every consignment gives your quality team the data before the vessel sails, and SAFTA, Fruit Trade Assistance, our partner Sales Execution Office in Antwerp, Belgium, supports fixed price programmes and in port assistance in Rotterdam and Hamburg.

Questions buyers ask
Before you request an offer for Poland
Is it better to ship direct to Gdańsk or via Rotterdam?
Direct services to Gdańsk avoid the road leg but take a few days longer and sail less often; Rotterdam and Hamburg offer weekly departures and one to two days by road to Warsaw. We quote both so you can compare landed cost and arrival day.
Can you supply Polish discounter programmes?
Yes. We pack nets, trays and cartons to retailer specification with Polish language labelling, follow residue programmes designed around discounter limits and provide GRASP and audit documentation on programme volumes.
Do you serve Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary and the Baltics?
Yes. Central European and Baltic importers are served from the same Gdańsk, Hamburg and Rotterdam arrivals with road delivery, and the EU EPA duty free terms apply across the single market.
How many containers a week can you commit?
Programmes start from one container and move to fortnightly or weekly loadings agreed per programme. The Kenyan peak runs April to August, with Tanzanian and regional fruit covering November to March.
How do we see the quality before the container sails?
Fruit Quality Studio Africa, the Kenyan arm of Quality Studio Europe, inspects every consignment at the packhouse and issues a preloading QC report on dry matter, defects, sizing and pulp temperature, which we share with you before the vessel departs.
Can you start with a trial order?
Yes. Most programmes for Poland begin with one container to Gdańsk, or a pallet by air for herbs, chillies and samples, before moving to fortnightly or weekly programme volumes.

SAFTA, Fruit Trade Assistance: Sales Execution Office, Antwerp
Our partner Sales Execution Office in Antwerp, Belgium. SAFTA is not a buyer of our fruit: it sells Konza Tropicals avocados on our behalf to retailers, importers and ripeners across Europe and executes each programme from offer to payment, with fixed and transparent pricing, programme contracts, cold chain from packhouse to destination and SAFTA Rescue support for shipments in European ports, so growers and importers both know where they stand.
