Kenyan avocado and avocado oil exporter to Tunisia

Tunisia is one of the world's largest olive oil producers and bottlers, and its oil houses in Sfax, Sousse and Tunis are adding avocado oil to the ranges they sell in Europe and the Gulf. Tunisia is also a COMESA member whose consumers, hotels and food manufacturers are discovering avocados. We supply Tunisian importers and wholesalers with Class 1 Hass avocados through Radès and Sfax, and we supply crude, extra virgin and refined avocado oil to Tunisian bottlers, refiners and natural cosmetics manufacturers, together with dried mango, dried chillies for harissa makers and macadamia.

Buyers

Built for Tunisian olive oil houses, importers and harissa makers

Tunisian oil houses understand pressing, refining and bottling as well as anyone, and they want crude or extra virgin avocado oil with a COA, retained samples and a supplier who can hold a specification lot after lot. Tunisian importers want a short Mediterranean transit and documents that clear at Radès without delay. Harissa and spice makers want dried chillies with consistent heat and clean residue results. Our own processing gives us control of the oil, our orchards and partner growers give us the fruit and chillies, and independent preloading inspection on every fruit consignment gives your quality team the data before the vessel sails. Our French and Arabic pages support Tunisian buying teams.

Questions buyers ask

Before you request an offer for Tunisia

Can a Tunisian olive oil house bottle your avocado oil under its own brand?

Yes. Cold pressed extra virgin avocado oil ships in 190 kg drums and 1,000 litre IBCs for bottling under your brand, and crude oil in flexitanks for refining; each lot carries a certificate of analysis and we courier retained samples before you confirm.

Is Kenyan produce duty free in Tunisia?

Kenya and Tunisia are both COMESA members and AfCFTA parties. Preferential duty applies where Tunisia's schedules are in force; your customs broker confirms the rate per tariff line and we issue the certificate of origin required.

Which dried chillies suit harissa production?

Dried cayenne and bird's eye chillies, whole or crushed, with heat stated in Scoville units and moisture, aflatoxin and residue results per lot; habanero for hotter blends. Samples are couriered before the first order.

How long is the transit to Radès?

Twenty to twenty four days from Mombasa through the Red Sea and Suez, routing dependent; oil, dried fruit and chillies travel in dry containers on the same services.

How do we see the quality before the container sails?

Fruit Quality Studio Africa, the Kenyan arm of Quality Studio Europe, inspects every consignment at the packhouse and issues a preloading QC report on dry matter, defects, sizing and pulp temperature, which we share with you before the vessel departs.

Can you start with a trial order?

Yes. Most programmes for Tunisia begin with one container to Radès, or a pallet by air for herbs, chillies and samples, before moving to fortnightly or weekly programme volumes.
