Kenyan Hass avocado exporter to Spain

Spain is Europe's avocado grower and its biggest ripening and redistribution hub, and from May to September its own Málaga and Granada orchards are out of season. That is exactly when Kenyan Hass peaks. We supply Spanish ripeners, wholesalers and distributors in Málaga, Valencia, Barcelona and Madrid with Class 1 Hass and Green skin avocados through Algeciras and Valencia, and crude and extra virgin avocado oil for Spanish refiners, olive oil houses and cosmetic manufacturers in Andalusia, Valencia and Catalonia.

Buyers

Built for Spanish ripeners, redistributors and oil refiners

Spanish buyers know avocados better than anyone in Europe. Málaga ripeners want fruit with consistent dry matter that holds in the ripening room, Mercamadrid and Mercabarna wholesalers want clean sizing and documents that clear fast at Algeciras, and Spanish refiners want crude avocado oil with a COA they can trust. Our own 200 hectare plantation and registered partner orchards give us the volume to hold a weekly summer programme, independent preloading inspection on every consignment gives your quality team the data before the vessel sails, and SAFTA, Fruit Trade Assistance, our partner Sales Execution Office in Antwerp, Belgium, supports fixed price programmes and in port assistance in Iberia. A Spanish language version of this page is at /es/avocado-exporter-europe.

Questions buyers ask

Before you request an offer for Spain

When does Kenyan Hass complement Spanish production?

Spanish Hass from Málaga and Granada is harvested from about October to April or May. Kenyan Hass peaks from April to August and continues into October, so Spanish ripeners can run Kenyan fruit through the summer and return to local fruit in autumn.

Do you deliver to ripening centres in Málaga?

Yes. Fruit discharges at Algeciras, two hours from the Axarquía ripening centres, and through SAFTA we can arrange DAP delivery to your ripening room or to Mercamadrid and Mercabarna platforms.

Can Spanish refiners buy crude avocado oil on a yearly contract?

Yes. We supply crude avocado oil in flexitanks or drums against annual or multi year offtake, with a batch certificate of analysis for free fatty acid, peroxide value, moisture and impurities, and retained samples before each lot.

Is there a Spanish language version of this page?

Yes. Our Spanish pages for Spanish and Latin American buyers are at /es/ and /es/avocado-exporter-europe, and our team corresponds in Spanish on request.

How do we see the quality before the container sails?

Fruit Quality Studio Africa, the Kenyan arm of Quality Studio Europe, inspects every consignment at the packhouse and issues a preloading QC report on dry matter, defects, sizing and pulp temperature, which we share with you before the vessel departs.

Can you start with a trial order?

Yes. Most programmes for Spain begin with one container to Algeciras, or a pallet by air for herbs, chillies and samples, before moving to fortnightly or weekly programme volumes.

Our partners

Independent quality control and transparent trade, built into every shipment

Two partners work alongside our own team on every export programme, so buyers see the fruit before it sails and know the price before they commit.

Fruit Quality Studio Africa

SAFTA, Fruit Trade Assistance: Sales Execution Office, Antwerp

Our partner Sales Execution Office in Antwerp, Belgium. SAFTA is not a buyer of our fruit: it sells Konza Tropicals avocados on our behalf to retailers, importers and ripeners across Europe and executes each programme from offer to payment, with fixed and transparent pricing, programme contracts, cold chain from packhouse to destination and SAFTA Rescue support for shipments in European ports, so growers and importers both know where they stand.
